Nobody wants to step out of a shower and feel like they’re standing under a stadium floodlight. It’s jarring. The goal is simple: give you all the heat, none of the blinding light. The secret is in the glass. Standard lamps just blast everything—heat, UV rays, and bright light—all at once. To fix that, we use special coatings or a specific type of quartz. Think of it like a pair of sunglasses for the heater. It blocks out the harsh blue light and UV rays but lets the warmth slide right through. You get that cozy feeling without the squinting. Heat vs. Light Usually, if you want a room to warm up faster, you crank up the wattage. But there’s a catch. A hotter filament usually means a brighter, whiter light. We handle this by tweaking how the filament is wound. By changing the geometry, we can keep the heat high while keeping the light soft. It keeps your bathroom feeling like a bathroom, not an operating room. Getting the install right Height matters. A lot. A lamp that works perfectly for a standard 2.5-meter ceiling is going to struggle if your ceilings are 4 meters high. But here’s where people mess up: they just buy a much more powerful lamp to make up the distance. That’s a mistake. If you over-spec the wattage, you risk making the light way too intense for the eyes. One last thing… These coatings are great, but they aren’t invincible. If you scrub the glass with harsh chemicals, you’ll strip that protective layer right off. Stick to a dry wipe. If the coating chips or wears away, the “filter” is gone, and you’re right back to that blinding glare we’re trying to avoid.
