Our fix was to tweak the thermal layout. We keep the outer lens just warm enough that the dew point never hits. No fog. No reflection. Just a clear path for that instant warmth to hit your skin the second you flip the switch. The trade-offs Here is the reality: we use high-grade quartz glass because it heats up instantly. It’s the best way to get warm fast. But quartz can be a bit brittle. To make sure it doesn’t crack from the stress of heating and cooling, we added reinforced mounting brackets. They act like shock absorbers, soaking up vibrations so the glass stays intact. One quick heads-up, though. These are splash-proof, not submarines. They can handle a steamy shower or a few accidental sprays, but don’t go dunking them in water. If you’re putting one in a high-pressure steam shower, just make sure your drainage is on point so water doesn’t pool at the base.
